In 1988, Jacki graduated with 1,000 hours of massage and bodywork schooling of several different varieties, including Swedish, integrative, trigger point, polarity, deep tissue, and many other modalities. She is a reiki master and incorporates reflexology, aromatherapy, sound work, and crystal healing in her work. 

In essence, she uses whatever tools are most needed to bring healing and balance to her clients. She is one of the most experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate massage therapists in the Portland Metro area. 

With her background in mental health and addictions, she complements whatever work her patients are doing in therapy to fully support their healing journey. She also works in consultation with medical doctors to help decrease medications in collaboration with those providers, when appropriate.

Her focus is on creating balance in all parts of one’s life, from physical, to emotional, to mental. For those open to a more internal process, she also offers bodywork experiences* in tandem with massage to offer a deeper level of healing.

* About bodywork: The distinction between bodywork and massage, is that bodywork brings in emotional, spiritual, and mental experiences and looks at how they affect the physical body, and offers tools for exploring those avenues.
